Let's calculate the Life Path number for someone born on 14 July 1990.
- Day: 14 → 1 + 4 = 5
- Month: July = 7 → 7
- Year: 1990 → 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19 → 1 + 9 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1
- Add the results: 5 + 7 + 1 = 13 → 1 + 3 = 4

What About Master Numbers?
If your final sum (or any day/month/year sub-total) equals 11, 22, or 33, stop there and do not reduce further. These are master numbers. For example, if someone born on 29 November 1983 calculates:
- Day: 29 → 2 + 9 = 11 → keep as 11 (master number)
- Month: November = 11 → keep as 11
- Year: 1983 → 1 + 9 + 8 + 3 = 21 → 2 + 1 = 3
- Total: 11 + 11 + 3 = 25 → 2 + 5 = 7
Master numbers are honoured at the sub-total level, but the final Life Path is still reduced unless it itself equals 11, 22, or 33.
